The MXWrencher Story

And on the 8th day, God made MOTOCROSS and he saw that it was EXTREMELY good.  However, the man that God had made was without the proper tools and knowledge to work on the machines, required for this new thing called motocross.  This caused the man, to curse and to say many perverse and blasphemous things and he even began to lose some of the hair that God had placed on his head.  God saw that this was not good and so God brought forth two angels…one bearing tools and extreme mechanical knowledge, and one bearing a video camera and the ability to ask stupid questions.  And so on the 9th day, at about 6:30 in the evening, sitting a Starbucks, God said…

THE TRUE STORY: Two guys walked into a “coffee” bar…one was bald and one was thinning pretty badly. They both had a love and a shared passion for motocross and trail riding.  One of them was an MMI (Motorcycle Mechanics Institute) graduate, a former service writer at a dealership, and he loved fixing dirt bikes and teaching others how to work on their own.

The other guy was actually pretty handy with a video camera and had some experience making online training videos. Before the coffee was gone, the video guy looked at the mechanic guy and said… “Hey…why don’t we create some videos to help save more guys from going broke, bald or crazy, over maintaining their dirt bikes…

The “mechanic guy’s” name is Corvin Farmer, aka “The Corvinator” and the video guy’s name is Michael Chriswell, aka “Dirt Bike Mike”.

MXwrencher.com is a result of two guys, with a shared passion, bringing their unique talents together, to do what they love and to help others with the same passion.  We take ourselves pretty lightly, but we would honestly like to give God and his son, Jesus Christ, thanks for inspiring this project and for allowing us to borrow the talents he has allowed us to borrow, while we’re here, to do fun stuff like this!
